If you are visiting Mussoorie, this free tour is the best way to get to know the culture of this beautiful town, set in the foothills on the edge of the majestic Himalayan mountain range.

Free Walking Tour of Mussoorie

We will meet up in front of the St. Paul's Church, where we will begin our tour around the most important locations of this stunning hill station situated more than 6,000 feet above sea level. It is not by chance that Mussoorie is popularly known as the 'The Queen of the Hills'.

Our first stop is the Kellogg Memorial, a Presbyterian church built in homage to the America missionary Samuel Kellogg, who wrote one of the most important English language books on Hindi grammar. Our free tour then continues at Sisters Bazaar, where you will find colorful street stalls selling all kinds of wonderful local products.

Our next stop is Prakash, a fascinating shop known for its traditional sweets, peanut butter, and sausages. We will also take you to the British quarter, full of enchanting churches from the colonial era and charming 19th-century brick houses adorned with Rhododendron flowers.

The next stop is the 'Red Hill', from where you have spectacular views of the magnificent Himalaya mountain range and the peak of Nilkantha rising up to 21,000 feet. Our free tour of Mussoorie ends in the wonderful marketplace of Chaar Dukan, where you will find numerous traditional eateries and cafes.
