Naxos Villages Bus Tour
Naxos Villages Bus Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Naxos between 9:05 and 9:15 am, to start an unforgettable route through some of the most beautiful villages on the island.
Our first stop will be Sangri to visit the Temple of Demeter. This ancient Greek site has many unusual features for the time, as it's believed to have been one of the first built in the Ionian style. We'll tour its ruins and explore the museum of its archaeological remains.
The route will continue to Halki, a quaint town with a special charm. We'll walk through its narrow streets admiring the whitewashed houses so typical of Greek architecture. Halki will also be the perfect place to try the famous Citron, a liquor that we'll be able to taste in the oldest distillery in the town.
The next stop of the day will be Apeiranthos, a village that will become one of your favourite postcard spots thanks to its marble steps, old houses and churches and stone towers.
After walking through this fairytale town, we'll travel to Apollonas. In this paradisiacal enclave, you'll have two hours of free time to have lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the north of Naxos.
The tour will then continue to Eggares. Here we'll discover the gastronomic tradition of the island by entering the museum of the olive press.
The tour will end between 5 and 5:15 pm at one of the pick up points.
