The famous book “One Thousand and One Nights” comes to life on Broadway with Aladdin, the musical comedy based on the 1992 award-winning Disney animated film.

Why See Aladdin on Broadway?

The musical tells the tale of Aladdin, a resourceful 18-year-old who survives on the streets of Agrabah with his loyal monkey, Abu. Relying on his wits, he navigates a life of stealing and trickery. But his fortune changes when he discovers a magic lamp containing a genie who grants him three wishes. Aladdin uses these wishes to win the heart of Jasmine, the Sultan’s daughter, whom he deeply loves. However, his plans are disrupted when the villainous Jafar steals the lamp, forcing Aladdin to not only save Jasmine but also the entire kingdom.

This enchanting story of love and adventure comes to life in a spectacular dance production featuring stunning visual effects. Directed by the acclaimed producers behind The Lion King and Sister Act, this two-and-a-half-hour musical is a feast for the senses. The New York Times hails Aladdin as a “fabulous musical that exceeds all expectations.”

Frequently asked questions

  • Q - Is the show suitable for all audiences?

A - Although the required minimum age to be admitted to the theater is 2 years old, the performance is not intended for children under 6 years.

  • Q - What are the seats in the Rear Balcony area like?

A - Rear refers to the seats at the back of a section, but which offer a full view of the stage. Balcony refers to the second floor of the theatre.

  • Q - What are the seats in the Mid Mezzanine like?

A - They are the seats located in the middle of the Mezzanine, which corresponds to the mezzanine or first floor.

  • Q - Which local supplier will be providing the tour?

A - Broadway Inbound Corporate name: BROADWAY INBOUND INC Registered Office: 234 WEST 44TH STREET, New York, United States Tax Identification Number (VAT ID): 20-3863600 Contact information Email: catherinek@broadwayinbound.com Phone: +01 866 302 0995

  • Q - What are the seats in the Front Balcony like?

A - They are the front seats on the top floor of the theatre.

  • Q - What are the seats in the Front Orchestra and Front Mezzanine like?

A - They are the seats at the front of the Orchestra (corresponding to the stalls or seating area) or at the front of the mezzanine.

  • Q - What is the difference between Orchestra and Mezzanine?

A - The Orchestra refers to the stalls and is located on the ground floor. It's therefore the area closest to the stage. The Mezzanine area is the first floor, corresponding to the first level above the Orchestra.

  • Q - What is the difference between rear seats and front seats?

A - Front seats are located at the front of each section and are therefore closest to the stage. Rear seats are usually cheaper, located at the back of each section and offer a better overall view of the stage.

  • Q - Are there bad seats in Broadway musical theatres?

A - Not really! Broadway theatres are surprisingly small and intimate, especially when compared to large concert venues. Even seats in the Balcony area (boxes or second floor) are usually closer to the stage than one might expect. Each seat offers a unique perspective: from the Orchestra (stalls), you can appreciate the expressions of the performers in the show, while from the Mezzanine (upper floor), you can enjoy sweeping views of the stage.

  • Q - What are the best seats for children?

A - For children, the best seating options are at the front of the mezzanine or the orchestra stalls. If the children are not very tall, side seats and seats in the rear should be avoided.

  • Q - How should we choose the best seats based on our budget?

A - If you want to enjoy the action, a good option is the side or rear seats in the orchestra section. For good views at a moderate price, another great option is the front seats in the mezzanine. If you're looking for the most economical seats, we recommend the Balcony or the last rows of the Rear Mezzanine. Both options allow you to enjoy the show with a great view and excellent acoustics.
