    The NY City pass is very convenient. Just a note about the Top of the Rock: it was poorly organized, with confusing queues and very crowded... although the views make you forget all about that. The Empire State Building was much better organized.

Construction of the Empire State Building began in 1930, and, incredibly, only lasted a total of 410 days. The structure, which is built in an Art-Deco style, was largely built by Irish and Italian immigrants and at the time of its construction, was the tallest building on the planet.
