Free Walking Tour of New York

At the indicated time, we'll meet in the heart of the Financial District in Manhattan, near Bowling Green, the city’s oldest park. From there, we'll begin a 2.5-hour tour rich in history.

First, we'll walk among the skyscrapers that house the New York Stock Exchange and Federal Hall. We'll trace New York's evolution from a Dutch trading port to the global financial capital. Next, we'll pass by the National Museum of the American Indian, located in the former U.S. Customs House, an architectural gem of Lower Manhattan.

Next, we'll head into the historic district to seek out the last traces of Dutch architecture before reaching Battery Park. From this waterfront green space, we'll enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the gateway for millions of immigrants.

The tour will conclude in the World Trade Center area. We'll visit the surroundings of the 9/11 Memorial, a space of profound respect and tribute to the victims of the September 2001 attacks. There, among the fountains marking the site of the Twin Towers, we’ll reflect on the city’s reconstruction and future.
