Queens Borough Walking Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time in front of the Whole Foods Market on 6th Avenue, and set off on a tour of the famous Queens borough, one of the New York's famous five. Let's go!
From Bryant Park, we'll start our journey by taking the subway to Long Island City. Here, spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline await us, with the legendary Pepsi Cola sign on the water's edge.
Our next stop will be the heart of Queens' Chinatown, Flushing, the largest and most authentic in the city. We'll stroll through its streets, entering a bustling area where Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cultures coexist. The scent of street food, the signs in multiple languages, and the constant bustle will have you feeling like you're in a new world!
Next up, we'll hit the Colombian neighborhood, also known as the setting for the legendary movie Coming to America, where Eddie Murphy starred in some of his most memorable scenes. Here, the Colombian, Ecuadorian, and Venezuelan communities have created a corner of Latin America in the heart of New York.
From here, we'll head to Little India and Little Nepal, where temples, spices, and colors will transport us directly to South Asia. Before finishing, we'll make a special stop in Forest Hills, a charming residential neighborhood that looks like something out of a postcard. What links does this area have with the renowned Spider-Man series? We'll tell you along the way!
To put the finishing touch, we'll cross over to Roosevelt Island, from where we'll return to Manhattan on the iconic cable car over the East River. Then, at this final stop, we'll bring the experience to an end after 4.5 hours.
