Private Tour of Odessa
Private Tour of Odessa
We'll pick you up at your chosen time from your hotel in Odessa, before heading to the first stop on our tour: Theatre Square. Here you'll see the neo-baroque façade of the city's most iconic building, the Theatre of Opera and Ballet, which was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1873.
We'll then stroll down Primorsky Boulevard and climb the famous Potemkin Steps, which connect the port with the historic centre of Odessa. Reaching the top of the stairs, we'll see the sculpture of the Duke of Richelieu... do you know what link this historic figure had to the Ukrainian city?
Continuing along Deribasovskaya Street, we'll reach the City Garden, a green space where we'll find two intriguing sculptures. The first is the Monument to the 12th Chair, which pays tribute to a popular novel by writers Ilf and Petrov, and the second is dedicated to the singer Leonid Utiosov. You can even have your photo taken sitting on the bench next to him!
Not far from the park is Sobornaya Square, where we'll stop to admire the façade of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral before heading along the French Boulevard towards one of Odessa's most elegant coastal districts: Arcadia. You'll be enchanted by the spectacular views of the Black Sea!
At the end of the three hour tour, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.
