Mamoiada Winery Tour

When the clock strikes 3, we will meet up in Piazza del Popolo square, in the heart of Orosei's historical center. There, we will board a minibus and head towards the town of Mamoiada, about an hour away.

In the granite hills that surround this village, we will discover various idyllic vineyards whose grapes are used to produce the most exquisite of Sardinian wines. Get ready to learn how this drink is made.

We will visit a winery in Mamoiada and stroll around its grounds to learn all about the succulent Cannonau grape, typical to this area of inland Sardinia. This fruit is said to contain three times more antioxidants than other species. We will explain how this variety of grape, which could be more than 3000 years old, is cultivated.

After visiting the vineyards, we will enjoy a delicious tasting that will include four glasses of wine. We will also accompany this elixir with a small selection of tasty sausages and local cheeses.

We will finish the excursion at 5 pm, arriving back at the original starting point.
