Day Trip to Kyoto, Nara, & Fushimi Inari
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Osaka Mode Gaku building to begin this day trip to Kyoto, Nara, and Fushimi Inari. The perfect plan to get to know Japan's cultural and historical richness!
We'll kick the day off with a visit to the famous Nara Park, where we'll get to know the hundreds of friendly deer that wander freely around this natural space. Did you know that these animals hold great significance for people in Japan? Find out why on this day trip! Here, you'll have some time to interact with them and feed them.
The day trip will continue onto Kyoto, wandering down Sanneizaka and Ninenzaka, picturesque streets filled with traditional wooden houses. We'll explore these charming alleyways to discover local shops and the typical tea houses, an iconic symbol of the former Japanese capital. You'll also have some free time to grab a bite to eat with some tasty lunch.
Afterwards, we'll explore the Kiyomizu-dera temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, with some of the best views of the city, we'll reveal all the details about its architecture and get to know the sacred waterfall of Otowa, where you'll have some free time to stroll around these surroundings.
Before returning to Osaka, we'll visit the renowned Fushimi Inari Taisha, known as one of Japan's most important sanctuaries, with its red torii doors which wind their way through the Inari mountain. Photo time!
The day trip will come to an end at the initial meeting point in Osaka after a total of 10.5 hours.
