Yanachaga Chemillén National Park Hike
Hiking in Yanachaga Chemillén National Park
You'll be picked up at the designated time at your hotel in Oxapampa, and then we'll head towards the Yanachaga Chemillén National Park, one of the most important conservation areas in the Amazon basin.
About 30 minutes after departing, we'll reach the viewpoint of the Bosque de Neblinas, inside Yanachaga Chemillén National Park. Our tour will take us to the El Cedro Control and Surveillance Post.
Continuing the route, we'll discover the emblematic lumber species of Oxapampa, the tree of Diablo Fuerte. The route will also take you to a large area of ficus. Later, if you want, you'll reach a viewpoint to admire part of the Valley of Oxapampa. You'll observe botanical species like cedar and ulcuman, used to extract wood, along with other kinds.
Finally, we'll begin our journey back to your hotel in Oxapampa, where we'll arrive 7 hours after pickup.
