Upper Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & Glen Canyon Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We’ll begin our adventure in the Walmart parking lot in Page, where we’ll set off toward the dramatic bend in the Colorado River known as Horseshoe Bend.
Once there, we’ll take a 1.5- mile (2.4-kilometer) round-trip walk to the main viewpoint. From the edge, you’ll enjoy one of the most iconic views in the American Southwest, with the Colorado River curving gracefully through towering red rock walls far below.
After soaking in the scenery, we’ll make a stop so you can have lunch on your own. Then, we’ll head into the heart of the Navajo Nation to visit the famous Upper Antelope Canyon.
Accompanied by a local Navajo guide, you’ll explore this remarkable slot canyon, where wind and water have sculpted flowing sandstone walls over thousands of years. Watch as beams of sunlight filter down through the narrow openings above, lighting up the canyon in shifting shades of gold and orange. It’s a truly unforgettable sight.
Our final stop will be Glen Canyon Dam, where we’ll take in sweeping views over Lake Powell and the Colorado River below.
With your camera full of incredible photos, we’ll return to the meeting point in Page, bringing this 5-hour excursion to a close.
