    The boat was fine. The crew and guide were also very friendly. They keep the area where you stay on the boat very clean. The food was delicious and plentiful. Regarding the orangutans, we were hoping to see them up close. It's still a business. You'll only be able to see them from a distance of 4 meters. All the stops are at mealtimes; you'll see them from steps at the aforementioned distance, and watch them eat from a walkway. The chances of seeing them up close without a distance are zero.

    We took the 3D2N tour. A very positive experience. Pros: Variety of animals in their natural habitat. Good food offered on the klotok. Night trek with a guide and ranger, very exciting. Our guide (Farida) and the rest of the klotok crew were very pleasant and friendly. Cons: Feeding time was packed with tourists; I would have preferred more trekking through the jungle to see the orangutans (very touristy). Hygiene/bathroom maintenance on the klotok was inadequate for the price of the activity.
