The guide and crew were great (Rudi went above and beyond). The excursions were fantastic. The boat itself was in dire need of improvement. Klotoks are like that, but ours was by far the worst; the bathroom was unsanitary. For the price we paid, the conditions for both guests and crew could be significantly improved. Perhaps they gave us what they had left, because despite having given us a week's notice as they said, when we arrived at 9 AM and called them, they had forgotten about us and had to improvise.

Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was incredible, and Afifa, along with the entire team, was the best guide you could ask for. We saw orangutans, macaques, and proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat. We did the night trek, which was amazing, and the last night, watching the sunset on the boat with the fireflies, was absolutely magical. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

An incredible experience. Sharing these days with Rudi and company on board the boat in Borneo has been great. They have all been very friendly. We have seen orangutans, macaques, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, tarantulas and even a small orca in the river. The food is delicious and sleeping on the boat is highly recommended. Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

Everything was wonderful, from the guide and the cook to the other crew members. We were lucky enough to see the orangutans in the wild, and we really enjoyed the nighttime walk with the ranger. The worst part was the bathroom hygiene, but that's the same on all boats. Opinion translated. Show original.

The klotok cruise was an unforgettable experience. Sailing and sleeping on the boat, in all kinds of weather, enjoying delicious and plentiful food, and observing orangutans, proboscis monkeys, gharials, and other wildlife, along with the kindness of Aldi, our guide, made the cruise one of the highlights of our trip to Borneo. Translate this opinion into English.

I would simply add that Civitatis should advise bringing binoculars, flashlights, and mosquito repellent (especially for the jungle) to enhance the experience. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The boat was fine. The crew and guide were also very friendly. They keep the area where you stay on the boat very clean. The food was delicious and plentiful. Regarding the orangutans, we were hoping to see them up close. It's still a business. You'll only be able to see them from a distance of 4 meters. All the stops are at mealtimes; you'll see them from steps at the aforementioned distance, and watch them eat from a walkway. The chances of seeing them up close without a distance are zero. Translate this opinion into English.

We took the 3D2N tour. A very positive experience. Pros: Variety of animals in their natural habitat. Good food offered on the klotok. Night trek with a guide and ranger, very exciting. Our guide (Farida) and the rest of the klotok crew were very pleasant and friendly. Cons: Feeding time was packed with tourists; I would have preferred more trekking through the jungle to see the orangutans (very touristy). Hygiene/bathroom maintenance on the klotok was inadequate for the price of the activity. Opinion translated. Show original.

Emocionante!

Exciting! Everything was very well organized. The only complaint is that we arrived at the klotoc and waited for three hours before leaving without anyone informing us about anything. I had read from other tourists that the departure time was within half an hour, but that wasn't the case for us. We didn't understand why, either we arrived too early or there was a delay. I don't know, but we would have calmed down a bit if we had been given some information.

Abbiamo visto animali fantastici. Super consigliato. We spent 20 days in a more touristic Indonesia. This experience was really authentic. Lost in Kalimantan with a phenomenal crew and a helpful and friendly guide (Dheny). We ate the best food of the whole holiday in Indonesia (both typical and more international). We were pampered by the crew on our basic Klotok but with everything you need (mosquito nets, shower, bathroom, etc.). We saw amazing animals. Highly recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

Experiencia inolvidable! Translate this opinion into English.

Unforgettable experience! We took the trip as a couple and were incredibly happy. We enjoyed unforgettable scenery and saw tons of different animals throughout the trip. The crew (guide, cook, captain, and assistant) were top-notch and very attentive the entire time. The food was fantastic, delicious, and plentiful. Opinion translated. Show original.

A lot of money to have the guide openly ask for a tip at the end. 2 nights on the klotok was too much for me and on top of that with a guide who climbed barefoot onto my bed or lay down whenever he wanted... And the night trekking with leopards, bears and orangutans at night without any kind of security other than the guide and a ranger with a flashlight seems unnecessary to me. I personally felt uncomfortable and unsafe, perhaps because I was alone. The others (captain, assistant and cook) on the boat were fine.
