Playa Del Carmen Free Tour
Tour Details
We'll begin this free tour of Playa del Carmen, meeting at the indicated time on Quinta Avenida. Across from this location lies Fundadores Park, where the Maya Portal stands out, a monument that celebrates the greatness of this ancient civilisation and welcomes us in front of the sea.
Our next stop will be at Ah Cacao, where, if you wish, you can try the drink of the gods while we tell you about its history and production process, a legacy that connects the present with Mexican tradition. Further on, we'll see the façade of the Hotel Posada Sian Ka'an, an example of how Mayan traditions are still alive in the region.
We'll continue with a visit to La Tarraya, the first beach bar, famous among locals for its authentic atmosphere. Then, we'll enter the Frida Kahlo Riviera Maya Museum, a space full of colour and creativity that pays tribute to Mexico's most iconic artist.
Our tour will continue on Calle 8 Norte, the epicentre of the party and nightlife scene, before finally arriving at the Palacio de Gobierno, where vibrant murals narrate the history and Mayan traditions of Playa del Carmen.
After 1.5 hours, we'll end the free tour of Playa del Carmen at this last stop.
