Puracé Waterfalls Hiking Tour
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on this tour to Pululó, an indigenous territory that forms part of the municipality of Puracé, less than 1 hour from Popayán.
Once at our destination, we'll enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast prepared by one of the local families, ideal for recharging our energy and connecting with the culture of the area.
With our renewed energy, we'll begin our 10-kilometer hike along the Pululó route, which will take us through impressive waterfalls and amazing landscapes in the heart of Colombia.
First, we'll reach Andulbior Waterfall, which stands out for the force of its 15-meter (49 ft) drop. Then, we'll continue to Isiago, a majestic waterfall nearly 60 meters (197 ft) high, surrounded by impressive vegetation.
Next, we’ll pause along the way to regain strength with a homemade lunch, also prepared by the community. Afterward, the route continues to the final stop: Vinagre Waterfall, a cascade of thermal waters that emerge at a temperature of 18°C (64°F). Here, you’ll have 1 hour of free time to enjoy a refreshing dip in its warm and revitalizing natural pools.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Popayán, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 10 hours.
