Day Trip Details
After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at the indicated time, we'll travel south for about an hour and a half until we reach Trancoso.
Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided tour of the main sights of this town, whose history dates back to the 16th century when Pedro Álvares Cabral arrived in Brazil. During the tour, we'll discover what life was like for the Jesuits in the town and learn about its subsequent transformation in the 70s when it became a 'hippie town.'
We'll also explore the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center of Trancoso, where we'll see the charming colonial fishermen's houses and the church of Quadrado.
Then, we'll leave the old town behind and head to the beach of Quadrado de Trancoso, just a 15-minute walk away. There, you can enjoy the beauty of its waters and the reefs that can be seen from the bay. The perfect spot for a photo!
Anyone hungry? You'll have half an hour of free time to grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants on the beach. With your batteries recharged, we'll start our way back to Porto Seguro, where we'll finish the tour at your hotel after about 9 hours.
