Inside, you can access the main places of the castle:

• St. Vitus Cathedral: is the most important religious monument in the country. This imposing Gothic masterpiece's construction took over 600 years and ended in 1929. Inside, you'll find the Bohemian crown jewels, which are only on display at very special occassions.
• Old Royal Palace: served as the main residence of the princes and kings of Bohemia from the 9th century to the 16th century. Its Vladislav Hall is one of the largest late Gothic spaces in Europe, famous for its complex rib vault.
• St. George's Basilica​: is the castle's oldest religious building. Founded in the 10th century, its current red facade is an example of the Romanesque art in Bohemia, which was reconstructed in the 12th century.
• Golden Lane: is one of the most photographed areas, famous for its small and colorful houses, which were inhabited back in the day by goldsmiths, alchemists, and later, by authors, such as the famous Franz Kafka.

The Lobkowicz Palace: Art, Music, & Scenic Views

Located inside the complex of the Prague Castle, the Lobkowicz Palace is the only private property inside the venue and a true architectural gem. This building is home to one of the most important private art collections in Central Europe, which belongs to the Lobkowicz noble family, whose history dates back to the 14th century.
