Adventurers, are you ready to have one of the most fun and exciting experiences in Tenerife? Let's start a buggy tour around the Teide! At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz and head by minibus to our starting point.
Once there, we'll review the safety rules to start driving the buggies. We'll drive through trails full of vegetation that contrast sharply with the desert and almost lunar environment that characterizes the island until we reach the first stop: La Caldera. We'll admire this ancient volcano and its rock formations before continuing on to Ramón Caminero, where we'll enjoy a well-deserved rest.
Once we've regained our strength, we'll return to the buggy and continue the trip to the Teide National Park. We'll drive along the particular landscapes of this area of the island, unloading adrenaline as we approach the Siete Cañadas, one of the great natural treasures of Tenerife. The views we'll get from this point, as well as its geological and plant diversity, will leave you completely captivated.
Then, the highlight of the tour arrives, as we ascend to 2,150 m (7,053 ft) of altitude. We'll be at the base of El Teide! After taking some amazing pictures and enjoying the scenery, we'll start the exciting descent through other equally special paths.
We'll return to the starting point with the buggies, where a pleasant reward awaits us: a tasting of tapas and drinks, perfect to share the sensations experienced!
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz and say goodbye, 3 hours later.
Requirements
To drive the buggies, you must be over 18 years old and have a valid driving license. In addition, children between 14 and 17 years old can participate as companions as long as they are at least 120 cm tall (3 ft 9 in).
