At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start the tour with a private tour of Puerto Varas, the so-called city of roses. In this beautiful city located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, we'll first visit the Costanera promenade.
We'll continue our tour of Puerto Varas, heading to the historic center. In this area, we'll contemplate the facade of the iconic church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose architecture is sure to surprise you. And no wonder! This temple, built between 1915 and 1918, perfectly reproduces the physiognomy of another famous church located in the Black Forest of Germany.
After touring the old quarter of Puerto Varas, from where we'll contemplate the unmistakable silhouette of the Osorno Volcano, we'll border the shore of Lake Llanquihue, taking the Route of the Settlers. This road will take us to the coast of the Pacific Ocean, where the beautiful city of Puerto Montt is located.
We'll begin our tour of Puerto Montt at the Plaza de Armas. This esplanade houses a large sculptural ensemble that will catch your eye for its realism. This is the Monument to the German Settlers, which is dedicated to the German immigrants who arrived in Chile between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
We'll also stop in front of the Puerto Montt Cathedral and visit the Angelmó area. In this popular fishing district, we'll see the many stalls selling fish, seafood and handicrafts.
Finally, after a four-hour tour, we'll conclude our private tour of Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt by returning to your hotel.
