Food Tour of Puerto Morelos
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet on the street at the entrance of Puerto Morelos to begin our delicious culinary adventure. Are you ready?
At our first stop, we'll indulge in a variety of authentic tacos, made with ancestral recipes that have been passed down through generations. Then, we'll try some traditional handmade sopes with thick corn tortillas covered in fresh and flavorful ingredients.
Next, we'll taste some exquisite quesadillas, stuffed with melted cheese and wrapped in freshly made tortillas. This dish truly is the heart of Mexican cuisine!
Our next stop will be to try cochinita pibil, a Yucatecan dish of slow-roasted pork marinated in citric fruits and annatto and cooked in banana leaves to give it a unique flavor. You won't forget this tasty experience!
Afterward, we'll explore Mexico's rich variety of fruits and vegetables, learning more about the agricultural heritage and the fresh, colorful products that are essential to the local cuisine. To wrap up this tour, you'll enjoy dessert featuring traditional Mexican paletas and ice cream, bursting with natural flavors that provide a sweet and refreshing end to our tour.
We'll conclude our 3-hour tour at the starting point, with full bellies and happy hearts.
