Jamao al Norte Horse Riding Activity
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from either your hotel in Puerto Plata or from the Plaza Popular in Cabarete and head to Jamao al Norte. Once we've arrived, we'll head into the nearby jungle and start our unforgettable horse riding activity.
We'll get our helmets on, climb up onto our horses and start exploring the Yasica River. Our route will take us through paths full of ceibas, guamas, and springs with crystal clear water. Halfway through our activity, we'll stop to enjoy a snack consisting of local cheese and a rodao, a kind of biscuit unique to this area.
Afterwards, we'll continue trotting through dense subtropical forests while taking in the beauty of an unparalleled natural environment. Time for lunch! At 12 noon, we'll reach a riverside community and have a meal consisting of chicken with rice, beans and salad.
Following lunch, you can continue horse riding or take a relaxing dip in one of the natural pools. We'll then say goodbye to our horses and return to the pick up point at 3 pm.
