Puerto Vallarta Farm Tour
Activity Details
We'll meet at Calle Lima, number 130. From there, we'll head to the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta. Ready to immerse yourself in the most authentic rural life of the state of Jalisco?
During the journey, we'll drive on roads that intertwine with the tropical jungle and the mountain folds of the Sierra Madre. Get your camera ready—these landscapes are beautiful!
Once we reach Rancho Mi Abuelo, we'll be greeted by the singing of the roosters and the unmistakable aroma of the lit griddle. After a warm welcome, we'll learn about the tasks that shape the Vallartense life from its origins.
You'll have the chance to meet the dairy cows and milk them, just like the region's first farmers did. If you want, you can taste the fresh, warm milk with the purest taste of the countryside.
Afterward, you'll learn about the artisanal process of cheese production, a craft passed down from generation to generation, where patience is crucial to receive a good product.
We'll also tour the tropical gardens and taste sweet fruit that ages under the Jalisco sun. Your mouth will be watering!
Then, we'll prepare the corn dough and shape several tortillas with our own hands to put them on the griddle.
Later, we'll head to the area where you'll find the horses and go horseback riding along the rural trails. To end the day, we'll take a dip in natural pools, among ferns and the singing of cicadas. What a way to end the visit!
Finally, we'll begin our journey back to the meeting point in Puerto Vallarta, where we'll say our goodbyes after 5 hours.
