If you’d like to move away from traditional routes around Rio de Janeiro, welcome aboard! We’ll meet at the steps of the Municipal Theater and start a fun bike taxi tour that’ll take us to discover the city’s main attractions in comfort.

Once everyone’s ready, we’ll admire the buildings of Floriano Square, such as City Hall, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the National Library. We’ll talk about their refined architecture, a clear example of the Belle Époque, and the vibrant social life of Rio’s elite in the early 20th century.

Riding the bike taxis, we’ll travel along Central Avenue, also known as Avenida Rio Branco, until we reach the Arcos da Lapa, an 18th-century aqueduct that’s been part of the city’s skyline ever since. We’ll stop in front of it and, if we’re lucky, we might even see the iconic yellow Santa Teresa tram passing by.

We’ll continue the tour at the Selarón Steps, an essential stop to discover this famous Rio landmark, covered in colorful ceramic tiles you won’t stop photographing. The bike taxi route will take us to other highlights of the city, such as the Passeio Público, the Church of São Francisco de Paula, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, whose modern design will surprise you. We’ll also pass by the Colombo Bakery, the Imperial Palace, and the Tiradentes Palace.

In the final stretch of this bike taxi route through Rio, we’ll cross Arco do Teles to discover the city's oldest streets. Later on, we’ll pass by the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center and Casa Brasil, and head to the Ethnicities Mural. Did you know it’s the largest graffiti mural in the world?

To finish, we’ll stop at Valongo Wharf and Pedra do Sal, a perfect place to learn about Rio’s African cultural heritage. Finally, we’ll visit Morro das Conceições and head back to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye 3.5 hours later.
