Tour Options

When booking, you can choose from different options. All of them include hotel pickup and drop-off, a jeep tour, and an English-speaking guide on board. Below you’ll find the details of each option:

Rocinha Favela Tour (3 Hours)

On this tour, we’ll take you to discover the Rocinha favela on an exciting off-roading ride. Rocinha began to form in the 1930s, when migrants, mainly from northeastern Brazil, settled on Morro da Rocinha in search of work. Today, it’s one of the largest favelas in Latin America.

During the tour, you’ll understand how its importance lies in its geographic location, nestled between the wealthy neighborhoods of Gávea and São Conrado, making it a powerful symbol of social contrast and resilience in Rio.

Along the way, you’ll feel the warmth of the local community as we attend a capoeira performance by local children and teenagers. You’ll also have the chance to interact with talented artisans and artists from Rocinha, whose graffiti reflects the beauty of the neighborhood.

We’ll then get out of the vehicle to visit the highest viewpoint in the community, where you’ll see Christ the Redeemer from above. From here, you’ll also enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon beaches. After this cultural immersion, we’ll head back to the starting point, saying goodbye after a total of 3 hours.

Tijuca National Park Tour (4 Hours)

After pickup, we’ll head to Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world. During the tour, you’ll enjoy its preserved green areas, taking in breathtaking landscapes full of history and biodiversity. You’ll be in a true natural sanctuary.

On this jeep tour of Tijuca National Park, we’ll combine short walks with off-roading rides, perfect for fully immersing ourselves in the tropical rainforest trails, home to monkeys, sloths, coatis, turtles, fish, and countless other animals.

We’ll also visit Cascatinha, the park’s tallest waterfall, the Mayrink Chapel, and the impressive giant jackfruit tree, three of the park’s main highlights. After 4 hours of fresh air and exploring the rainforest in the heart of Rio, we’ll return to your hotel.

Christ the Redeemer & Sugarloaf Mountain Tour (4 Hours)

With this option, you’ll discover two of Rio de Janeiro’s top attractions: Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.

We’ll travel along the city’s beaches until we reach the base of Christ the Redeemer, where you’ll enjoy unbeatable views of Rio de Janeiro Bay. We’ll also share details about this wonder, which, with its 28-meter-wide (91-foot) open arms, is one of the most iconic images of the city.

From there, we’ll head to Praia Vermelha, at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain. Here, we’ll take the cable car up to the summit, where you’ll admire Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, the city skyline, the surrounding islands, and Guanabara Bay.

4 hours later, we’ll return to your hotel.

Tijuca National Park, Santa Teresa, & Christ the Redeemer Tour (6 Hours)

If you want to explore Rio’s majestic mountains, this tour is for you. First, we’ll travel by jeep to the historic and bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa. Popular with artists, this district has a strong cultural identity, reflected in the mansions and museums lining its streets. Of course, we’ll see the famous Selarón Steps and the bondinho, Rio’s historic tram.

From here, we’ll continue to Tijuca National Park, exploring its most popular rainforest trails. We’ll then head toward Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain. Are you ready to be amazed by its presence and the stunning views over the bay from its viewpoint? You’ll fall in love with Rio.

6 hours later, we’ll take you back to your hotel after this complete experience.

Complete Rio Tour + Lunch (8 Hours)

This is the most comprehensive option of all. On this jeep tour, you’ll discover Rio de Janeiro’s four great highlights: Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Tijuca National Park, and the Botanical Garden.

We’ll start by heading to Tijuca National Park, where you’ll uncover the secrets of one of the largest urban parks in the world. We’ll then continue to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain, where you’ll enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city.

Midday, we’ll recharge with a delicious lunch at a traditional churrascaria, perfect for discovering Brazilian cuisine. With renewed energy, we’ll head to Sugarloaf Mountain. After enjoying another of Rio’s most iconic views, we’ll visit the Botanical Garden, where you’ll relax while admiring its more than 7,000 species of tropical plants.

8 hours later, we’ll return you to your hotel.
