Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the Parque Passeio Público to begin this adventure on our off-roading vehicles through the Brazilian hills. Let’s get started!

Our first stop will be at Largo dos Guimarães, the heart of Santa Teresa. This neighborhood, founded in the 18th century, became a haven for the elite in the 19th century and is now an artistic and bohemian site. During the tour, you'll soak up its atmosphere, visit its traditional bars, and explore its art studios.

We’ll continue the off-roading vehicle adventure by heading up toward the Mirante das Favelas. Did you know the term “favela” comes from a tree native to Brazil? Here, we’ll learn about the origin of these settlements and the history of the fighters from the War of Canudos.

Then, we’ll reach an altitude of 400 m (1,312 ft) until we arrive at the Dona Marta viewpoint, located within Tijuca National Park. From here, we’ll enjoy one of the most impressive panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro. With Christ the Redeemer and the Sugarloaf Mountain in front of us, we’ll understand why this spot is a favorite for watching the sunrise. Photo time!

Finally, after 2.5 hours of touring, we’ll return to the starting point to conclude the activity.
