Roatan Guided City Tour
Roatan Guided City Tour Itinerary
Having been picked up from your hotel on the Honduran isle, you'll be taken to Roatan's largest city and the Bay Islands' capital - Coxen Hole. You'll explore the streets of the town centre, admiring the picturesque architecture of its colourful houses.
Discover the fascinating history that surrounds the island, which includes the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1502; the first English people who settled here; and a legendary involvement with pirates. Learn how Coxen Hole got its name as your English-speaking guide reveals Roatan's swashbuckling and buccaneering past. You'll also enjoy a stroll through a park full of statues of national heroes.
Witness the island's creative side with a visit to a local market, in which you'll find a number of traditional handicrafts. Here, you'll have the opportunity to purchase gifts or treat yourself to a souvenir of your trip to Honduras.
Finally, the tour will head to West Bay beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on Roatan. The crystal-clear azure Caribbean waters and pristine white sand will invite you in, and you'll never want to leave this idyllic corner of the island - especially not once you've got a tropical drink and local delicacies to try!
At the end of your guided tour, you'll be taken back to your hotel.
