Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet under the maritime pines beside Trajan’s Column, in central Rome. From here, we’ll begin our free walking tour through the heart of the Eternal City—because as they say, all roads lead to Rome!
Our route will first take us through Piazza Venezia, the cultural hub of modern Rome. As we soak up the lively atmosphere, we'll stop to admire the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, affectionately nicknamed the “Wedding Cake” by locals. Dedicated to the first king of unified Italy, this white marble tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city.
Next, we’ll climb the historic Capitol Hill, one of Rome’s legendary seven hills. Here, we’ll marvel at Piazza del Campidoglio, a unique square redesigned by Michelangelo. From this privileged vantage point, we’ll enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the Roman Forum, the very heart of political, religious, and commercial life in ancient Rome.
As our route continues, we’ll pass the Imperial Fora, a collection of grand plazas and temples built by Rome’s emperors to showcase their power and glory. We’ll also catch glimpses of Palatine Hill, the birthplace of the city. What's more, just beyond, we'll pass by the iconic Colosseum, where gladiators once fought for glory. Don’t forget your camera!
After soaking in these incredible sites, we’ll end the tour 2 hours after the start.
