Stefano was an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable and considers the health and welfare of his tour participants, i.e., sun and heat - kept us in the shade when possible. He is an asset to the city and Civitatis!
Stefano was my guide. He helped by taking us through shaded parts on a hot day and not making us walk a lot but still shared plenty of information. He was engaging with the group and had good humour.
Very unique experience! Definitely not for all tourists, but for people very interested in history and archaeology it would be excellent. Our guide, Giuseppe, is an archaeologist and was able to get us access to this restricted area beneath Rome. The tour is very active, so would only be recommended for people able to walk and climb. Be sure to wear old clothes and shoes, as you will get dirty hiking through the park, quarry, and catacombs.
