Le Marin & Sainte-Anne Tour
Le Marin & Sainte-Anne Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at the car park of the Corps de Garde beach. We'll board a minibus and leave Sainte-Luce behind to start exploring the communes of Le Marin and Sainte-Anne, located in the south of Martinique.
The first stop of the tour will be at Anse Figuier Beach. You'll have time to take a refreshing dip in this white sandy bay as well as enjoying two cocktails and an aperitif in a local restaurant - welcome to paradise!
After making the most of our time at the beach, we'll visit the Anse Figuier Eco-Museum, where you'll learn many interesting facts about the history of Le Marin and its native inhabitants, the Kalinago tribe.
We'll then return to the vehicle and visit a church in Le Marin dating back to the 18th century. After admiring its architecture, we'll continue our tour to Sainte-Anne.
The journey will take us through extensive plantations and pass by the old lime kilns of Pointe Borgnèse, before reaching the ruins of a colonial mansion where we'll take the opportunity to delve further into the history of Martinique.
We'll finish the tour to Le Marin and Sainte-Anne at 1 pm, back at the original starting point.
