It's a beautiful experience, but there is too much exploitation both in the reserve and at the Pink Lake. Additionally, you have to spend quite a bit of extra money; you need to pay for the entrance to the reserve, including the guide's fee, food, and the 4x4 excursion. The Pink Lake has gotten out of hand, too many beach bars. For us, the experience has been very nice thanks to the guides, they are charming and very kind, they have enhanced the experience.

The organization was quite poor. They kept us waiting for two hours to start the tour through the Bandia Reserve after we had already paid. After an hour and a half to reach Lake Retba (Pink Lake), we only had lunch, saw the lake for 10 minutes, and were then taken back to the hotel. They didn't take us on the 4x4 excursion around the lake as described in the tour description. I wouldn't book with them again. This isn't the only tour in Senegal that doesn't live up to expectations.

Although I paid via the website, the agency didn't pay the guide. He stopped a car and said the trip was over as he wasn't paid... I said it was not my issue and he had to solve it by himself with the agency... the trip was ok, Punk Lake worth visiting and Bandia absolutely great. I just literally don't understand why the agency didn't pay the guide. He was great guy but very upset he wasn't paid. So avoid Civitalis.

We regret that the service was not quite up to expectations. However, we can confirm that it took place, as usual, according to the description on our website. We appreciate and take note of your comments in order to assess possible improvements.

it was no activity provide by your company, your company send a taxi to take us to the Bandia Reserve, all the rest we have to paid extra. 205€ only to make 60kms is very expensive. In your program all was included. I'm very desapointed about your company inform to provide and what we received. Very bad. The Lac Rose we got the information that he is not Rose any more, so we decide to return to the hotel. The minimum that you can do is to refund the amount that we paid.

On our web description we specify what is not included in the price of the activity. These extras must be paid at the time, and depend on the availability of the local provider. We regret that the activity was not to your liking.
