Concert Details

Ready to travel back in time to the 18th century? By attending this classical music concert, you'll relive an evening that could have been enjoyed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart himself. With musicians and singers dressed in period costumes, you can delight in arias and duets from his most famous operas while savouring an exquisite banquet inspired by historical recipes.

The evening begins in the afternoon at the historic St. Peter Stiftskulinarium. At this prestigious venue, located in a former monastery, you'll be welcomed in the spectacular Baroque Hall. Welcome to one of the oldest restaurants in Europe!

Once you've settled in, the musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, dressed in authentic period costumes, will begin the first part of the concert. The musical programme will be performed in three parts, before and between each course of the banquet.

The string orchestra and two opera singers will delight you with a repertoire of arias and duets from the most iconic operas by the genius from Salzburg. The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute, as well as the first movement of his famous work A Little Night Music.

The grand finale of the evening will be dessert, a local delicacy that will leave you wanting more. The experience will conclude after a total of between 2.5 and 3 hours.
