At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in São Paulo and from there we'll head to two of the most famous cities in Brazil for receiving believers from all over the world: Aparecida and Cachoeira Paulista.
After approximately 2.5 hours of driving, we'll arrive at our first destination: the Santuário Nacional de Nossa Senhora Aparecida. This church, dedicated to the patron saint of Brazil, is the largest in Latin America and the second largest in the world, with a total built area of 23,000 square meters (247,569 sq ft).
We'll tour the interior of this impressive temple, and then leave you free time to attend the mass, which lasts about an hour. At the end of the Eucharist, you can enjoy lunch at the restaurant within the basilica complex.
With your batteries recharged, we'll meet again to continue the excursion to our second stop: Cachoeira Paulista. In this city, we'll take you to visit the Canção Nova Sanctuary or Santuário do Pai das Misericórdias.
This place of devotion was founded in 1978 by the Brazilian priest Jonas Abib, a reference to the Catholic charismatic movement in Brazil. The temple, which receives thousands of Catholic faithful every year, has a modern and imposing architecture, with a large image of the Merciful Jesus on its façade.
After visiting these places of worship, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 10 hours of excursion.
