Pedraza Castle Tickets + Audio Guide
Why Visit Pedraza Castle?
Located in the medieval village of Pedraza, declared a Historic Site, this 13th-century castle was transformed into an elegant Renaissance palace during the 16th and 17th centuries. Later, the painter Ignacio Zuloaga rescued it from ruin, making it his residence and studio.
With your ticket, you'll have access to the castle's courtyards and rooms. You can explore areas such as the cannon tower, the Main Courtyard, and the old latrines. Every corner reveals key episodes from the history of this Segovian fortress.
One of the most fascinating spaces is the Tower of Homage, where Zuloaga made his home. Some of his belongings are still preserved there, and you can feel the creative atmosphere in which the artist brought much of his work to life. From the top, you'll also enjoy magnificent views of the medieval village of Pedraza and the surrounding countryside.
The best part? To ensure you don't miss a thing, you'll have a digital audio guide that you can easily download to your mobile phone. Through it, you'll discover surprising anecdotes, learn about the legends of the ghosts said to haunt the castle, and understand the historical and artistic importance of this monument in the province of Segovia.
