Chungju Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We'll meet bright and early at the meeting point in Seoul to set off to North Chungcheong Province. After approximately 2.5 hours, we'll reach our first destination of the day.
Once at Chungju Lake, the largest manmade lagoon in Korea, you'll have the chance to enjoy a peaceful boat ride. During approximately 50 minutes, you'll sail on these tranquil waters as you admire the lush mountains and surrounding cliffs. It's the perfect place to unwind!
After relaxing in the lake, we'll hop on the Cheongpung cable car. We'll gently ascend to the top of the mountain, where spectacular views of Chungju Lake and the surrounding valleys await. The observation deck is the ideal spot to take pictures of the scenery. Once we descend, you'll have free time to have lunch on your own.
Our last stop will be the enigmatic Hwalok Cave. Here, you'll enjoy a unique kayak experience, rowing along underground canals surrounded by stalactites and amazing rock formations. It'll be a calming yet exciting adventure to explore the hidden beauty in this stunning cave.
Finally, we'll return to Seoul, where arrival in the capital is planned to be 11 to 12 hours later.
