Jeonju Day Trip
Trip Details
We'll pick you up in the morning at the meeting point in Seoul to start this full-day trip to Jeonju Village. We'll board a vehicle for a 3.5-hour drive to Jeollabuk-do Province. Let's get started!
Our first stop will be Jeonju Hanok Village, the largest in Korea, where you'll have 3.5 hours to explore. Its more than 800 hanoks, or traditional Korean houses, preserve the form and cultural values of the Joseon Dynasty. You'll see the striking contrast with the modern city!
You can admire the curved rooftops, rent a hanbok for photos, and even try the famous bibimbap, the dish originating from this town, during the free time you have for lunch. The choice is yours!
After soaking up the tradition in Jeonju, we'll continue the route with a journey of approximately 1.5 hours to the recreational forest of Jangtaesan or Daedunsan (depending on the season).
Located near the city of Daejeon, this recreational forest is famous for its huge number of gingko trees. There we'll see why they are so special! It's also the perfect place to enjoy a forest bath and breathtaking scenery. You'll have 2 hours to stroll around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Finally, we'll board the bus again for the 2.5-hour drive back to Seoul. The trip will end at the same starting point.
