The popularity of their dumplings was such that the restaurant has come to be recognised by The New York Times as one of the 10 best restaurants in the world.

Due to its fame, moreover, the restaurant quickly became a chain and has opened branches in numerous countries, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong. However, it still retains the essence of the original restaurant in Taipei, where it began its successful career.
