Traditional Music & Dance Show in Tirana

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Albanian Night, where we'll immerse ourselves in the soul of Albania with a performance of authentic folk music and dance. The evening will begin in the foyer and the traditional hall, a space where every piece has been created by local craftsmen.

We'll meet Leka, the village chief, who will welcome us and invite us to follow him downstairs to the traditional costume room. There, Leka will tell you the story of his son's wedding, which gave birth to this traditional Albanian dance. While his words transport you, the melodic singing of an artist and the accompaniment of a guitar will fill the air with nostalgia.

Guided by the artists, we'll go to the hall where you'll select the costumes, each one representing a different region of Albania. Once you're dressed up, you'll cross the threshold of Oda e Ziarrit, the hall where the show will take place. Before taking your seat, you can stop by the bar to order a drink on your own.

The magic will begin when the first chords flood the hall and the dancers appear, performing dances that have transcended generations. You'll see the men hitting the floor with force, representing the indomitable spirit of the Albanians. Meanwhile, the women will twirl elegantly and delicately, waving their embroidered skirts—a beautifully staged performance full of meaning!

The best thing about it? At some points during the show, you'll have the opportunity to join the performers, letting yourself be carried away by the passion of Albanian dance.

Finally, after an hour and 15 minutes, the experience will come to an end, but you'll still be able to explore the artisan room and the dressing room.

Dinner

You can complete your experience even more by booking the dinner option. In this case, at the end of the show, you'll return your costumes and head to the Oda e Besës room, where the dining room is located. There, you'll be served a menu of 7 dishes, each originating from a different region of Albania and Kosovo, along with a drink with or without alcohol and a bottle of water.

Menu

• Petulla te fshita (Albanian pancakes): from the culinary traditions of the Korçe region, these pancakes are baked in clay and served with white sheep's cheese, boiled garlic and fresh butter.
• Qofte me Perime (vegetarian croquettes): croquettes of courgette, egg, white sheep's cheese, tomato, batter, onion and fennel with strained yoghurt flavoured with mint.
• Dollma (stuffed vine leaves): also called japrakë, these are seasonal vine leaves or spinach leaves stuffed with rice, minced meat, spring onions, fennel and mint, dressed with extra virgin olive oil.
• Jufka Dibre me Zog Fshati (handmade pastry with Dibra chicken): chicken on the bone with handmade pastry made according to the tradition of the Dibra region, fresh butter and lemon juice, baked for 20 to 30 minutes.
• Qofte Vigi me sSalcë Nardeni (beef croquettes with plum sauce): handmade mini croquettes made with beef, onion, oregano, tomato paste, plum sauce and extra virgin olive oil, infused with garlic and fresh basil.
• Speca me Qumesht "te Cartun" (peppers with cultured milk): a special dish from Kosovo. These peppers are prepared in cultured milk, cured sheep's cheese and coarse salt.
• Sultiash (rice pudding): sweet rice pudding prepared with whole milk, sultanas, nuts and cinnamon.
