At the indicated time, we'll meet at Skanderbeg Square, in the heart of the Albanian capital. From there, we'll begin this fun beer tour of Tirana. Ready to discover Albanian beer culture?
First, we'll venture into the streets of the Pazari i Ri neighbourhood, an area full of lively outdoor bars, while we tell you all about the cultural transformation of this district and its impact on the city's lifestyle.
We'll make our first stop at one of Tirana's best beer pubs, where you'll sample a selection of 4 craft beers, ranging from pale ales to IPAs and darker stouts, accompanied by light snacks such as olives, bread, and dried meat. What a treat!
During the tasting, we'll talk about how beer evolved during and after the communist era in Albania. Afterwards, we'll continue the tour at a modern brewery in the Blloku district. There, you'll sample another beer paired with typical appetisers such as qofte, cheese boards, and baked snacks.
At this last point, we'll say goodbye after a 3-hour tour.
