Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Tirana and begin a journey toward the outskirts of the Albanian capital.

Before reaching the lake, we’ll make a short stop at the small Bovilla canyon to admire its rock formations. Then, we’ll continue to Bovilla Lake and its reservoir, which supplies drinking water to the city. This lagoon is one of the main natural sites in Albania, located at the foot of Gamti Mountain.

Once we arrive, we’ll begin a hike of between 2  and 2.5 kilometers (1.24 and 1.55 miles), passing through green hills with views of the lake in the background. This path will lead us to the summit, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Bovilla Lake.

At the top, you’ll have 2 hours of free time to take photos, visit a natural cave, and relax in the surroundings. Afterward, we’ll descend along the same path to return to the vehicle and begin the journey back to Tirana.

Finally, we’ll return to the starting point, ending the tour after approximately 6 to 7 hours.
