Tirana Street Food Tour
Street Food Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Rruga e Dibrës to start this food tour in Tirana. It's a route that combines culture and cuisine!
First, we'll head to Sheshi Skënderbej, where we'll have a traditional Albanian breakfast of byrek and dhallë. After delighting your taste buds, we'll start the tour by passing emblematic sites such as the Haji Et'hem Bey Mosque and the Clock Tower of Tirana, where we'll admire from outside the building that houses the National History Museum.
We'll continue by strolling toward Kavajë Street to enjoy a traditional bukë me qofte or a pjeskavica. Wonder what they taste like? Will their flavors be as exotic as their names? You'll soon find out!
On our way to our first stop, we'll pass iconic sites like the Bank of Albania and the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral. Then, we'll reach Pedonalja, one of the most lively streets in Tirana, filled with cafés and restaurants. We'll stop at a restaurant to try pllaqi and shishqebap.
Now, we'll pass the Parliament of Albania. At a nearby stand, we'll continue our food tour by trying a pispili, a dish that's similar to cornbread but made with Greek yogurt, spinach, feta cheese, and onion. Afterward, we'll reach the platillo similar al pan hecho de yogur griego, espinacas, queso feta y cebollas. Seguidamente, alcanzaremos la Pyramid of Tirana and La Laguna, where we'll conclude our food tour on a high with trileçe or şekerpare for dessert. It's the sweetest end to our tour!
Our street food tour in Tirana will end after 5 hours and 25 minutes.
