At the agreed time, we'll meet in the centre of Trapani and get on the bus to the nearby town of Erice.
After a 30-minute journey, we'll arrive in Erice, a medieval village high up in the mountains where every street and monument exudes tradition and history. From the village, we'll enjoy a panoramic view from Marsala to San Vito Lo Capo, showing us the wonders of the Sicilian region.
Together with our guide, we'll visit the most symbolic locations around the "City of 100 Churches", passing through the old city gate of Porta Trapani to continue strolling through the narrow and labyrinthine streets of the town. Afterward, we'll go into the historical centre of the town to taste some of its typical sweets or to admire the local craftsmanship, where the manufacturing of carpets stands out.
During our tour of Erice, we'll also check out its typical decorations, made of ceramics and painted in bright shades of yellow, blue and red. Finally, we'll return to Trapani, where we'll arrive three and a half hours after departure.
