3-Day Quad Tour Details

Day 1: Tunisia - Oasis of Ksar Ghilane - Douz

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in the capital of Tunisia, and we'll head to the Tunisian desert by minibus. 

Here, our quads await. These are the perfect vehicles to drive through the dunes and move around the country. After learning the safety rules, we'll drive for 1.5 hours from the oasis of Ksar Ghilane to the town of Douz, known for being the entrance gate to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we'll stop for a picnic-style lunch.

After lunch, we'll continue our quad tour toward the outskirts of Douz. We'll settle in a luxurious camping site located in the Jebil National Park. We'll finish this first day with a tasty dinner at the camping site, including soup, salad, brik (a typical Tunisian stuffed pastry), a meat or chicken fillet, fresh taguella (a flatbread dessert specialty), seasonal fruit, and mint tea.

Day 2: Douz - Grand Erg Oriental - Tembaine

After breakfast at the camping site, we'll start our new quad tour of approximately 2 hours through the desert of Tunisia that will lead us to the vast dunes of Grand Erg Oriental.

We'll stop for a delicious lunch in a remote restaurant in the area. Then, we'll continue our quad tour until we reach a camping site in the desert of Tembaine.

Here, we'll stay in comfortable camping tents surrounded by dunes, where we'll enjoy dinner and spend the night under the starry sky.

Day 3: Tembaine - Ksar Ghilane - El Djem - Tunisia

We'll calmly have breakfast at the camping site and afterward, return to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane by quad, where we'll enjoy a refreshing swim.

Next to the oasis, we'll enjoy a picnic-style lunch. After revitalizing, we'll drive on our quads for approximately 3 hours toward El Djem to discover its spectacular Roman amphitheater. Did you know that it's the fourth-largest amphitheater after Rome's Colosseum? We'll embark on a guided tour of its interior and see where gladiator battles took place.

From El Djem, we'll return by minibus to your hotel in the city of Tunisia. Arrival in the capital is expected to be at 6 pm.

Tour Accommodation

This tour includes 2 nights' stay with breakfast and dinner at the following camping sites in the Tunisian desert:

• Douz (1 night): 4-star camping site of Zemela Camp or similar
• Tembaine (1 night): 4-star camping site of Tiniri Camp or similar

The prices indicated are per person staying in a double room.

Itinerary Adjustments

Please note that, due to organizational reasons, the order of the itinerary may vary. However, we'll visit all the sites mentioned in the description and enjoy the mentioned activities.

Tour Schedule

Please note that on the last day of the trip, we'll reach the capital of Tunisia at 6 pm. If you want us to take you to the airport, your flight must take off at least from 8 pm.

Activity Requirements

• Please note that you do not need any type of license to drive the quads.
• The minimum age to participate as both a driver or passenger is 16 years old.
• Each vehicle is driven individually. If two people want, they can go on the same quad and take turns to drive.
• Please note that the prices indicated are per person and not per vehicle.
