  • 3 hours 30 minutes

Are looking for an original and unique way to discover the Uco Valley? This horse riding tour will take you into the heart of the beautiful countryside around Mendoza. There are several options so you can adapt this experience to suit your preferences.

Dawn horse ride

Before the sun casts the first rays of dawn, we will leave Tunyan behind and head to the village of Arboles to meet our new four-legged friends.

We will start our two and a half hour horseback route along a track that takes us into the beautiful surrounding countryside and up to the top of a nearby mountain.

At the summit, and as dawn's first light creeps over the mountain you will be treated to a delicious traditional breakfast of pancakes and mate as you enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain valley. Following the break, we start our return journey to Arboles where we will say goodbye to our new friends and then return to Tunuyan, where the experience finishes.

Sunset horse ride

We head to Arboles village where the horses will be waiting for us. We will ride for a few hours along different tracks, surrounded by the lovely flora and fauna of the region, eventually reaching the top of one of the Andean peaks.

From the summit, we will enjoy the spectacular sight of the sun setting over Uco Valley as we sip on some delicious regional wine. After the break, we then begin our return trip back to Tunuyan where the tour finishes.

Horse ride through the mountains

After arriving at the village of Arboles and climbing up onto the horses, we will spend a few hours exploring the animal tracks on the mountainside. We will pass along the valley that runs between the legendary peaks of Mendoza and, nestled among the streams and rocks, we will eventually reach a spectacular viewpoint.

We will relax there for a short period whilst enjoying a glass of delicious Mendoza wine before returning to the village of Arboles. From there, we will return to Tunuyan, where our trip finishes.
