Garibaldi Pass Hiking + Fagnano Lake Pack Rafting
Hiking & Pack Rafting in Tierra del Fuego
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia at the designated time and head to the trailhead. Here, we'll embark on an exciting hike toward Garibaldi Pass. Ready to explore the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego?
This low-difficulty hike, lasting around three hours, will take us through some stunning scenery. In the southern winter, we'll use snowshoes for the route. Along the way, we'll be treated to majestic views of Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
After a pause to take in the breathtaking scenery, we'll return to the vehicle and move to the other side of Lake Escondido. On its shores, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch featuring a homemade chicken sandwich, a cereal bar, an alfajor, fruit, and candy. Following lunch, we'll take a short break to rest and gear up for the paddling session.
Once prepared, we'll set off pack rafting on Lake Fagnano. This innovative form of rafting involves individual paddling in a lightweight inflatable boat. We'll navigate through this stunning spot, savoring the captivating natural surroundings of Tierra del Fuego's lake.
After approximately one hour of pack rafting, we'll return to the vehicle for the journey back to Ushuaia. You can expect to reach your hotel 8 hours after pickup.
