Boat Trip to Water Cay
Activity Details
After meeting up at the indicated time in front of the Caribbean Dreams apartments, we'll board a boat that will take us to Water Cay, one of the almost untouched corners of the Honduran Caribbean. All aboard!
The trip to this small island will take about 30 minutes, but during this short crossing, the views of the sea will help us forget our daily routine. To port and starboard, beautiful landscapes will open up, adorned with islets full of palm trees.
During the boat ride, you'll have a portable cooler on board to keep your drinks cold, although you'll have to cover the cost of the ice. When we arrive at Water Cay, we'll be greeted by a dreamy beach with beautiful white sand.
We'll stay there for approximately 3 hours, during which time you'll be free to swim, sunbathe and explore the jungle. Please note that there are no restaurants or beach bars on Water Cay, so don't forget to bring your own food in case you get hungry.
If you have brought your snorkelling goggles, you'll be able to admire the underwater landscapes that stretch along the coral reef of Water Cay. You'll be amazed by the marine life on the islet!
Finally, we'll meet up again to get back on the boat and set sail back to Utila, where we'll say goodbye after a 4-hour experience.
