Day Trip Details

We'll meet up at the indicated time in front of the Torres de Serranos and, from this iconic point in Valencia, we'll make our way towards the province of Alicante.

After about a 2-hour journey, we'll arrive at the Marina Baja. In this region, we'll first visit the town of Altea. We'll take a 30-minute walking tour through its charming old town, where the blue dome of the church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo, the Glorieta del Maño and the Portal Vell stand out.

At the end of the visit, you'll have about 2.5 hours to enjoy the views from its viewpoints. The most famous ones are the Cronistas de España and the Torre de Bellaguarda, which offers magnificent panoramic views of the beaches of Altea.

We'll continue our tour of the Marina Baja by going to Guadalest. Once there, we'll take a 30-minute guided tour of this beautiful town, where we'll see the baroque church of the Assumption and the remains of the castle of San José.

Next, you'll have 2.5 hours of free time in Guadelest to have lunch and visit one of its 8 museums on your own, for which you'll have discounts on their entrance fees. The most popular are the Museum of Microminiatures, the Microgiant Museum, the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers and the Ethnological Museum.

After lunch, we'll continue our route to the Fuentes del Algar. This is a spectacular set of waterfalls and natural pools where you'll have 2 hours free to bathe and stroll around this beautiful setting.

After enjoying this beautiful spot, we'll return to the meeting point in Valencia, where we'll conclude this 12-hour trip.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that, in order to make the most of the daylight, the order of the itinerary will change from October to March. The first stop will be at the Fuentes del Algar, where you can take a walk on your own or go for a swim if the weather is good. Then, we'll go to the town of Guadalest and, finally, to Altea.
