We will meet up at 10 am at the Prat dock in Valparaiso to discover the everyday way of life of the local fishermen in the Caleta Portales harbor. We will also see some of the wonderful wildlife that inhabits the area, such as pelicans and sea lions. Remember to bring a camera!
Then, we head to the captivating El Cardonal market, one of the best places to experience the delicious local gastronomy and learn some typical recipes. Afterward, we will take a ride on one of the city's famous trolleybuses through the downtown, arriving in the elegant financial district, the perfect testament of Valparaiso's heyday.
After this visit, we will then go to the enchanting Aníbal Pinto square, where you will have one hour of free time to eat in one of the many traditional restaurants (not included).
Feeling reenergized, we will then ascend the Alegre and Concepción hills in a funicular train. Known as the upper part of the city, this is the perfect area to explore the picturesque cobbled streets lined with colorful houses.
When we are back down in the lower part of the city, we will jump on a trolley bus and ride through the old downtown of Valparaiso. Afterward, we climb up to another viewpoint where you will enjoy the best panorama of the whole city. This is a sight you will never forget!
Finally, we will arrive at the famous 21 de Mayo avenue, where our brilliant adventure finishes at 5 pm.
