Valparaíso Guided Tour + Boat Ride
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we’ll meet in Sotomayor Square, one of the best places to start a guided tour of Valparaíso. Would you like to discover the main attractions of this Chilean Pacific city? Let’s begin!
In this central spot, we’ll travel back in time to learn about the city’s most important milestones. To do so, we’ll admire the impressive Monument to the Heroes of Iquique, where the remains of Arturo Prat rest. In addition, the square, originally known as Customs Square, houses the Chilean Navy Building and serves as the main hub of the Port District.
Next, we’ll take the Peral Elevator to reach the Yugoslavian Lookout and Baburizza Palace. You won’t stop taking photos! We’ll explore the city’s most iconic hills, walking through streets filled with history, color, and street art.
Proof of this is Gálvez Passage, where we’ll see countless graffiti murals. We’ll continue the guided tour walking through Concepción Hill, where we’ll stop at some of Valparaíso’s most iconic viewpoints, such as Gervasoni and Atkinson.
We’ll go down using the Reina Victoria Elevator and head toward Aníbal Pinto Square, a meeting point for numerous cultural influences. From there, we’ll take a trolleybus to reach Prat Pier. Want to keep discovering Valparaíso, but from the water? Time to board a boat to begin a ride through the bay!
During the journey, lasting between 20 and 30 minutes, we’ll enjoy the beauty of the city from another perspective, an ideal experience to see Valparaíso’s colorful hills and port activity.
Finally, we’ll return to land and end this complete 3-hour tour.
