Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Cactus Café, in front of the Olympic Cauldron, to start the sweetest tour of the city. Let's kick off the Vancouver doughnut tour!

First, we'll visit the Hidden Gem Bakery, where we'll start to talk about Vancouver's so-called third wave of coffee. With the sweet aroma of brioche doughnuts, we'll dive into the traditions of the West Coast of Canada. Did you know Vancouver was a pioneer in combining artisanal coffee with gourmet pastries in North America?

Our next stop will be at JJ Bean, a shop where each doughnut, whether it's vanilla or matcha, will melt in your mouth like a gentle touch. Just the smell will make your mouth water!

As we savor them, we'll travel back to Vancouver's industrial past, from its logging and railroad days to the vibrant city it is today.

Our tour will continue through the historic streets of Gastown, Vancouver's oldest neighborhood. Among Victorian streetlights and murals, we'll stop at a café that revives the tradition of homemade fritters and classic-style doughnuts.

Along the way, we'll tell you the story of “GassyJack Deighton, the charismatic saloon owner who started the neighborhood, and we'll understand how this place became a cultural and gastronomic epicenter.

Finally, we'll head to the iconic Steam Clock, where we'll conclude this sweet 2-hour tour. See you next time!
