Varadero and Varahicacos Ecological Reserve Tour
Tour Details
We'll pick you up at your accommodation in Varadero in a coco taxi and head to our first stop. Let the adventure begin!
Upon arrival, we'll enter the Varahicacos Ecological Reserve to see the oldest living organism in Cuba, a cactus known as "El Patriarca." We will uncover its myths and legends while enjoying the surrounding nature.
We'll continue to the National Monument "Cueva de Ambrosio," an archaeological treasure in Varadero that served as a refuge for the Taíno people and pirates in the 16th and 17th centuries. There, we will admire the largest collection of pre-Columbian pictographs in the Caribbean. A journey into the past!
The next stop on the tour will be the Xanadú Mansion, one of the most emblematic buildings in the city. After this visit, you will have 30 minutes of free time to relax on one of the best beaches on the Varadero peninsula. Without a doubt, the perfect moment to enjoy the Cuban paradise.
To finish, we will visit the Torreón del Quijote, the first water supply system in Varadero. From there, we will enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of Cárdenas.
The final stop will be in Varadero’s historic center, where we will see the exterior of Casa Azul, one of the first homes on the peninsula, and walk along the Paso Malo Canal.
Finally, we will take you back to your accommodation in Varadero, where we will arrive approximately 3 hours later.
